N. flavovirens Lehmann [N. gracillis Zuccarini]

 

N. flavovirens Lehmann [N. gracillis Zuccarini] is a species lily with white star petals on long stalks with green pads. It was thought to be extinct. Ken used literary references to go on his own and find it in Mexico. This is the basis for his reknown as the Indiana Jones of the waterlily world. It is the reason he has been able to create all of his star lilies.

 

Below are some of the original pictures taken in the wild when Ken rediscovered this waterlily that at that point was considered by all experts to be extinct. These are historically significant archival photos. Do not link to or copy the photos below without express permission from Ken Landon.
